The point is that by doing that, this pdf plugin takes precedence over the standard Preview plugin, which i prefer, not only on Firefox but on all of the browsers you use for that user.

If you just want to use it for Firefox, the sure way would be the way i’ve explained on this post. If you really like this plugin or just don’t care, then you can just run the installer from the website and it will be the default pdf plugin for *every* browser and *every* user.

I’ve followed your instructions but I still can see pdf files inside Firefox. I’ve installed inside the ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins and I can see it in Firefox Add-ons menu.

I have Firefox 6.0.2 under Mac OS X 10.5.8 and PDF Browser plugin 2.4.2
